Just another generic status update--the longer one goes between, the harder it gets to do them.... These past couple of days, my cooking impulse seems to be coming back to life. We are wrapping up a big project at work, after which things should quiet down a bit for the summer. I am taking next week off to visit family, and hoping that, too, will provide something of a recharge. After that it will be June, and summer. It's really hot in MA today, and the weather has me longing for summer's food, for farmer's markets, for things new and fresh.
I'm going to make this pasta salad for dinner tonight:

It's an oldie but goodie. Makes me happy.
